📣 Want to work with innovation and solution development this fall? Become a part-time student consultant in an interdisciplinary innovation project with Gründergarasjen! Application deadline: August 8 | Start date: August 18 | Remuneration: 16,000 NOK per project Gründergarasjen is looking for engaged and curious university students for an eight-week interdisciplinary innovation project in collaboration with Punkt Oslo and Oslo Municipality. You will work in teams of 3-5 students, divided into two projects, and you can apply to work on one or both. Guidance and follow-up will also be provided after the project delivery where this may be of interest. Project 1: One group (4 students). In this project, an interdisciplinary student team will explore how Punkt Oslo's test pavilion – an arena for temporary urban spaces and urban experimentation – can be used as a testing ground for new innovations. The goal is to develop a framework and concrete proposals for how testing arenas can make it easier for student entrepreneurs to test, validate, and showcase new solutions in public spaces. The project will involve design thinking, insight work, field studies, and collaboration with students, urban planners, and public sector stakeholders. Relevant fields of study: 1. Service Design / Design Thinking 2. Urban Development / Urbanism 3. Social Sciences / Sociology / User Understanding 4. Communication / Dissemination / Media Production 5. Innovation / Entrepreneurship / Project Management Project 2: Two groups (6-10 students total). The project is based on Oslo as a significant maritime city and port city, with the goal of developing and testing new solutions for ocean and maritime industries in Oslo and the Oslo region. The solutions should address actual problems from relevant industry players, which the students themselves will identify. This is therefore also a great opportunity for you as a student to connect with established businesses and thus expand your professional network. Relevant fields of study: 1. You will: * Join an interdisciplinary team and work practically with real challenges * Use design thinking as a process for insight work, idea development, and prototyping * Interview users, observe fieldwork, participate in workshops, and develop solution proposals for problems * Present findings and solutions at Oslo Innovation Week in October (October 20-24) 🧠What are we looking for? * You are a student at a university or college, or recently graduated, and want to learn through practical project work * You enjoy working in teams and are open to others' perspectives * You have an interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, societal challenges, and co-creation * You preferably have experience/knowledge related to the fields mentioned above, but motivation and interest are more important than academic background 💰 What do you get? * Close guidance and mentoring * Experience working with real business challenges * Experience working in interdisciplinary consultant teams * Better understanding of agile project work and design thinking * Remuneration: 16,000 NOK (paid through your own sole proprietorship – we'll help you get started if you don't have one already) 💼 Practical information * Duration: approx.
